Stewart has been in the flooring trade ever since he left school over 30 years ago. He started as an apprentice fitting carpets vinyls and old fashion linoleum for the Co-op and Queensway. In the early 80′s he started working for himself and then had to learn about book keeping, advertising and all the other horrible admin tasks that come with running a small business.
In the 90′s we moved to the Lutterworth area and Stewart Groom Flooring was born. By the mid 90′s laminate flooring was becoming popular so we added that skill.
The noughties has brought the Internet revolution and I love the internet and what it can do. So I have decided to put together a blog.
Our flooring blog is all about sharing our experiences both as a small business and a carpet and flooring retailer/fitter.
