Generally we offer a supply and fitting service only, but if you have bought your own new carpet or vinyl floor coverings we are happy to provide you with a price to install these.

We offer a professional carpet laying and vinyl fitting in Rugby and Lutterworth and anywhere within a 30 mile radius of our base, in homes and small businesses. We are sorry but we are no longer able to offer a fit only service for laminates and engineered wood products.

We can supply all the flooring accessories needed including underlay, door bars, gripper and floor preparation products like screed and plywood at a reasonable price. We will also uplift and dispose of your old flooring for a small charge.

All our carpetfitters are qualified, we hold public liability insurance and I (Stewart Groom) have been working in the flooring trade for over 30 years and am a National Institute of Carpet and Floor Layers Master Fitter.

GETTING A FLOORING BARGAIN – TOP TIPS

  • Make sure you know your room measurements before you go out to buy a flooring “BARGAIN”. On numerous occasions I have turned up to find that the piece of flooring is just too small or too large. If it is too small it is an absolute disaster, if it is too large it just means that it is probably not such a bargain because you paid for more flooring than you need.
  • If you are collecting carpet or vinyl from the retailer “DO NOT FOLD IT” to get it into your car. Folds in carpets can be very difficult to remove and sometimes your vinyl will crack, so roll your flooring. If you are local and you want us to collect your flooring we are happy to do so for a small charge.
  • Find out what the costs for fitting and accessories (underlay, doorbars etc) are first. Our minimum charge for a fit only is £45. So sometimes the total job is cheaper and less hassle if we supply and fit your flooring.
