Neutral Wool Carpet – My Recommendation

Tompkinson Twist – Recommended Neutral Wool Carpet

Are you looking for a neutral wool carpet for your home?  There are plenty to choose from but my personal recommendation is Mr Tomkinson Twist.

This is a product that no only looks good, it is great to fit and is good value for money.  It is an 80/20 twist pile carpet made in the UK from British Wool.  There are three qualities 30oz (suitable for bedrooms), 40oz suitable for most areas in any home and 50oz for really heavy use areas.  It has an secondary backing, which means it has to be fitted on underlay.  It comes in the 16 neutral/beige colour ranges shown above. It is also available in two widths 4m and 5m, which means for larger rooms it is not necessary to put joins, however from a carpet fitters point of view if joins are necessary this is one of the better products to join.

We regularly use this product for the show homes and customers of Francis Jackson Homes.  They typically have Kersaint Cobb Simply Oak fitted in the hallway and Tomkinson Twist Supreme (40oz) through out the rest of the house. By choosing to do all of the house in one colour way they get the best possible price because we are able to buy the carpet by the roll.

If you are in the Leicester/Rugby area and would like to find out more about this carpet and other carpets we supply and fit please contact Stewart on his mobile 07860 869169 or send a email to us at enquiries@stewartgroomflooring.co.uk.
