Q. Should I buy flooring over the internet?
The internet is fantastic for selecting potential suppliers of your flooring. You can see the type of materials they can supply and get an idea of the quality of installations. However flooring is something that you need to see and touch. It is absolutely essential that you see the flooring you are thinking of buying in your own home. This allows you to check the colour against your decor and furnishings. Ideally you want to see your chosen flooring in daylight and artificial light. Q. How can I make sure I get a good flooring fitter ?
Look for someone who belongs to the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers. They have different grades of membership
including Trainee, Approved and Masterfitter. I have been a Masterfitter for the last 6 years and I am actively involved in this organisation
trying to improve the standards in the flooring trade.

Q. Most Flooring companies offer "Free Fitting" and sometimes even "Free Underlay". Do you?
