Working from Home

In the modern study or home office there are two common features that will influence the choice of flooring. Your computer and office chair. IF you use a computer in your office it is important that the floor does not store excessive static. Wood, laminate and vinyl floorings do not retain static. Man-made fibres will hold more static so if you choose a completely man-made product make sure it has been treated for static in the manufacturing process. Office chairs on casters and their movement on the flooring will create creases in carpet if it is not fixed to the floor properly. Flooring should be fixed by adhesive. If you choose a carpet that requires underlay, a double stick system will be used to fix both the underlay and the carpet.
